In the 2nd minute of the game Conrado Domingues made a throw-in which Aloísio Senna played forward. Gwidon Juchno came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Nevşehirspor's Ahmet Paşa. But to his dismay, Ahmet Paşa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 6 played minutes Nevşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Gao Xi Di. Guilherme de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Leonard Gregersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ahmet Paşa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florão da América's Gwidon Juchno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Paşa in the 13th minute of play. Jorge Dante made in the 16th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gilmar Diniz. Conrado Domingues kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tostão Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Conrado Domingues made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Goliath Phoenix however managed to control. Florão da América's Gwidon Juchno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Paşa in the 26th minute of play. When Nevşehirspor's Ahmet Paşa in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Florão da América's goalie prevented a goal. Florão da América's Tostão Medeiros quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Conrado Domingues, made in the 35th minute of the game. Nevşehirspor's Leonard Gregersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 36th minute of play. Gwidon Juchno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Paşa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Mandi Bulín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Gregersen having to interfere. After the first half Nevşehirspor were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Paşa to strike the kick off in the second half. Nevşehirspor's attentive Conrado Domingues managed to snatch the ball when Tostão Medeiros made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Guilherme de Souza scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Gregersen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute of the game Conrado Domingues made a throw-in which Ufuk Güdeş played forward. In the 68th minute, Mandi Bulín hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Gregersen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mandi Bulín in the 76th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Gökmen Parshan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nevşehirspor's Leonard Gregersen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme de Souza in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute Guilherme de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Gregersen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
