Ismael Rossell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Brændgaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Brændgaard in the 28th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Brændgaard in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Rossell saved Loja S.C. from getting behind. After 31 played minutes Loja S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victoro Rayon. Cihangir Olgunsu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ismael Rossell. Loja S.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ismael Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Brændgaard in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of FC Stinking Dogs booed when Loja S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justavino Centeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunnar Brændgaard to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Stinking Dogs's Zhou Yuan Feng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hidalgo Gallegos in the 54th minute of play. Loja S.C.'s Ismael Rossell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Loja S.C. from getting a goal against them. Gunnar Brændgaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Rossell having to interfere. Ismael Rossell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Brændgaard in the 62nd minute of play. Dé Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Ismael Rossell made a huge save.
