The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sultan-Mehmet De Paula couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guaberto Bras got free with Farid Ayham in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilbert Cieliczka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Erdem Tekinsoy in the 23rd minute of the match. Pancha Futbol Club's Gilbert Cieliczka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Erdem Tekinsoy in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Atletico Beirut's Farid Ayham got control of the ball when Primitivo Godoy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Harri was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Harri got free with Gilbert Cieliczka in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pancha Futbol Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Florencio Harri scored to the left of an out of position Gilbert Cieliczka, making the score, 1-1. When Yin Bing fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Beirut's protests and gave Yin Bing a yellow card for diving instead. Primitivo Godoy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Farid Ayham. Atletico Beirut's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute Ali Erdem Tekinsoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Cieliczka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florencio Harri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Gilbert Cieliczka made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fan Qi Bin in the 87th minute of play forced Atletico Beirut's goalkeeper Farid Ayham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Pancha Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Bras to maneuver through the defense. Elias Olbrechts might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilbert Cieliczka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Atletico Beirut walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
