When Barnaba Ciupierdo came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Baboszewo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnaba Ciupierdo couldn't finish the play. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomasz Hetman in the 7th minute of play. Eduardo Baiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrzej Woźniak went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Baboszewo booed when Inter Gala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredão Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomasz Hetman, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th match minute, Inter Gala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Salles to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomasz Hetman in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eduardo Baiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baboszewo's Tomasz Hetman managed to work through Inter Gala's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tomasz Hetman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Wincent Kasprzykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Mendonça in the 18th minute of the match. The corner ended in Froilan Henric almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano did a great save. If Tomasz Hetman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincent Kasprzykowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Mendonça in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Inter Gala's Richard Mendonça dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Harbaszewski in the 41st minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Inter Gala made a substitution. Heinz Stalder replaced Jaime Rodrigues. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heinz Stalder stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norbert Harbaszewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduardo Baiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Norbert Harbaszewski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 52nd minute. After taking down the ball on Baboszewo's corner Froilan Henric fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eduardo Baiano quite easily take care of the ball.
