In the 10th minute, Frank Melis made a precise shot to the right of Radomir Medarov. Knights Templar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Atauri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Knights Templar were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after FC Inter Sibiu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roch Fedosz took the corner. After a rather tough play, Knights Templar's Roch Fedosz got a free kick in the 20th minute. Knights Templar's Radomir Medarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Knights Templar from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the match, Frank Melis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomir Medarov. Knights Templar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Melis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 28 minutes into the match, Pompiliu Cordescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radomir Medarov. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Knights Templar's Radomir Medarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Cordescu in the 55th minute of play. Lucrețiu Hrib hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dragoş Bitang during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Knights Templar booed when FC Inter Sibiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dragoş Bitang didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Inter Sibiu made a substitution. Kajetan Madajczyk replaced Dragoş Bitang. Dragoş Bitang kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Inter Sibiu's zone, Celedonio Atauri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastián Sosa came out of the goal and Celedonio Atauri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eusebiu Tuleiu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Pompiliu Cordescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 74th minute Eusebiu Tuleiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Medarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Sava Dodov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knights Templar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Inter Sibiu the free kick. Sava Dodov hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomir Medarov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC Inter Sibiu's attentive Gică Costandache managed to snatch the ball when Vladislav Haydushki made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Knights Templar! After some careless play in the Knights Templar defense, Gică Costandache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radomir Medarov. The Knights Templar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomir Medarov should have stopped the shot. Radomir Medarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pompiliu Cordescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Eusebiu Tuleiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Medarov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Knights Templar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radomir Medarov should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that FC Inter Sibiu were the better team. FC Inter Sibiu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
