A well-hit corner resulted in Damaso Xacintu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cyprian Kopacz was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Clayton Gol capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Clayton Gol really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cyprian Kopacz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clayton Gol's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Cyprian Kopacz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Xacintu in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Borcz in the 35th minute of play forced Sheriff's goalkeeper Yahia van der Saar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Clayton Gol kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cyprian Kopacz. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clayton Gol in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cyprian Kopacz saved Leeds Kraków F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Gol in the 47th minute of play forced Leeds Kraków F.C.'s goalkeeper Cyprian Kopacz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clayton Gol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Clayton Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cyprian Kopacz. Wincent Dunajski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yahia van der Saar having to interfere. Sheriff's Yahia van der Saar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sheriff from getting a goal against them.
