Atlético Micaelense's Vítor Resende was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vello Landi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gervásio Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, OxentePaisa Salcity's Vello Landi got control of the ball when Palmiro Bettencourt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute, Luiz Eduardo Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervásio Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

Vello Landi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Van Mellart, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Atlético Micaelense were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing OxentePaisa Salcity to leave the ground with a draw.
