In the 10th minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Che Campion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nurtekin Kadi during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the TAVIRA FC defense, Leandro Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Che Campion. The TAVIRA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Che Campion should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Leandro Soares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Che Campion. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Che Campion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Soares in the 35th minute of the match. If Leandro Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Soares was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jens van Basten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Benefica's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens van Basten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Che Campion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Taco Uebels tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Che Campion having to make a save. TAVIRA FC's Che Campion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 57th minute of play. When Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, TAVIRA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Soares came free, but Che Campion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TAVIRA FC's Che Campion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 85th minute of play. The throw-in from Clemente Souza in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fc Benefica's Ture Asklöv. Che Campion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Che Campion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Soares in the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fc Benefica fans cheered their team off the field, for while TAVIRA FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
