Fc Benefica's Taco Uebels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sjors van Ankeren in the 46th minute of play. David Wilmink kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute Sjors van Ankeren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Uebels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomil Ziomkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Sjors van Ankeren came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Kernsdorf SSA fans jumped to their feet. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc Benefica fully deserved thier win.
