Shao Xi Ran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ennio Orsini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, TAVIRA FC's Nurtekin Kadi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nurtekin Kadi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of TAVIRA FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nurtekin Kadi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when TAVIRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurtekin Kadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind TAVIRA FC's goalkeeper Che Campion, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Shao Xi Ran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th match minute, TAVIRA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Sousa to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the game, Clapham Rovers's Cléberson Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Che Campion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Cléberson Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Che Campion made a huge save. After 43 played minutes TAVIRA FC got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Palben. In the 46th minute Shao Xi Ran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennio Orsini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Moss.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shao Xi Ran was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when TAVIRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ennio Orsini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano Sousa in the 61st minute. Che Campion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. TAVIRA FC's Che Campion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Francisco Toscano in the 70th minute of play. Che Campion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléberson Mendonça in the 75th minute of the match. João Francisco Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Clapham Rovers made a substitution. Damien Quinn replaced Alex Gibson. In the 82nd minute, João Francisco Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clapham Rovers's Ennio Orsini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Xi Ran in the 84th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Shao Xi Ran dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ennio Orsini, 1-1. 93 minutes into the game, Jools Holland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Rovers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TAVIRA FC the free kick. Clapham Rovers:s Ennio Orsini showed great skill when he stopped Shao Xi Ran:s penalty. Shao Xi Ran took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ennio Orsini. Ennio Orsini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched TAVIRA FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
