Protegéerna's Jakob Lundin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Geronimo Berenguer got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes, Petter Skarkman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 9 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Patxi came free, but Bolo Skjold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes, Petter Skarkman made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bolo Skjold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geronimo Berenguer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute of the match, Inocencio Patxi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bolo Skjold was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zein Tutupoli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Geronimo Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Inocencio Patxi made a precise shot to the right of Bolo Skjold. Protegéerna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Skarkman in the 32nd minute of play. Protegéerna's attentive Paolo-César Maldini managed to snatch the ball when Armando Azubeli made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Zein Tutupoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zein Tutupoli. Gaviotas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Skarkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. 42 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petter Skarkman came free, but Zein Tutupoli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zein Tutupoli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Protegéerna were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Petter Skarkman made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Zein Tutupoli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Fernando Arango almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gaviotas FC's Zein Tutupoli did a great save. Protegéerna's Fernando Arango was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 53rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Jakob Lundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Zein Tutupoli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Berenguer in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Zein Tutupoli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petter Skarkman. After 63 minutes Gaviotas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Näver who took care of the corner kick. 64 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zein Tutupoli, 1-5. 68 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zein Tutupoli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Protegéerna made a substitution. Christer Nyberg replaced Jakob Lundin. The corner led Protegéerna's Christer Nyberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Zein Tutupoli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Valentin Oxarra threw the ball into play from the sideline. Protegéerna's Xu Yi Chong quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gaviotas FC's goalie prevented a goal. Zein Tutupoli made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Petter Skarkman sent off a good shot on target. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zein Tutupoli. Zein Tutupoli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Petter Skarkman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Zein Tutupoli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Protegéerna were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Gaviotas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Näver took the corner. After taking down the ball on Protegéerna's corner Michael Näver fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zein Tutupoli quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Söderlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Lihach came free, but Bolo Skjold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petter Skarkman in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zein Tutupoli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Zein Tutupoli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christer Nyberg's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The Gaviotas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Protegéerna's performance. The match ended with a win for Protegéerna.
