An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Meira in the 9th minute of play forced Gaviotas FC's goalkeeper Zein Tutupoli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zein Tutupoli, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 22nd minute of the match Chicão Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zein Tutupoli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zein Tutupoli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Meira in the 27th minute of play. When Gaviotas FC's Ariel Lihach in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estrela Solitária's goalie prevented a goal. Gaviotas FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inocencio Patxi in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Gaviotas FC booed when Estrela Solitária was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Ariel Lihach made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Sandrinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zein Tutupoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamim Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Berenguer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Zein Tutupoli came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Túlio Maravilha. But to his dismay, Túlio Maravilha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Estrela Solitária getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Dudu Meira hit a great ball. Gaviotas FC's Enzo Julian was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 94th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Gaviotas FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
