Geronimo Berenguer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robert Wennerquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Geronimo Berenguer slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Youth Academy Of Rhye's goalkeeper Robert Wennerquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Patxi. In the 12th minute, Jens-Åke Petersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zhao Feng scored 2-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zein Tutupoli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute Zhao Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zein Tutupoli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abdulaziz Onurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Youth Academy Of Rhye's Robert Wennerquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Youth Academy Of Rhye from getting a goal against them. Youth Academy Of Rhye were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Gaviotas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joélson Paiva took the corner. Robert Wennerquist stood somewhat misplaced when Geronimo Berenguer came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 34 minute. Jens-Åke Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Youth Academy Of Rhye got a freekick which was hit by Zhao Feng. With an all-out effort, Gaviotas FC's Robert Wennerquist threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Geronimo Berenguer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Robert Wennerquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Joélson Paiva hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Åke Petersson made a kick off. Youth Academy Of Rhye's Robert Wennerquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Berenguer in the 55th minute of play. When Inocencio Patxi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Robert Wennerquist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Mariano Madaleno replaced Armando Azubeli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Mancio in the 60th minute of play forced Youth Academy Of Rhye's goalkeeper Robert Wennerquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jens-Åke Petersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Zein Tutupoli made a huge save. Robert Wennerquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Nardo in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Ivan Mancio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Wennerquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Gaviotas FC's Inocencio Patxi to fire away a dangerous shot which Robert Wennerquist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Gaviotas FC's Ariel Lihach in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gaviotas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Pueblo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gaviotas FC had played much better football throughout.
