Herta Budino's supporters rose to their feet, but Davide Rinaldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Sotil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Davide Rinaldi came free, but Virgilio Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Blas Seber fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre's protests and gave Blas Seber a yellow card for diving instead. Virgilio Sotil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Davide Rinaldi went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the game, Davide Rinaldi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Virgilio Sotil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Adolfo Libertad in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Herta Budino's Kleanthis Zoumakis. Herta Budino's Fortunato Sangermano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Herta Budino from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Davide Rinaldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Virgilio Sotil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A collision led to Herta Budino getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fábio Grosso hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 28th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Rinaldi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Sotil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Herta Budino's Fábio Grosso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Virgilio Sotil in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Blas Seber got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Guido Mitxaut. Virgilio Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of Herta Budino booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Jerano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Rinaldi scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgilio Sotil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The supporters of Herta Budino booed when Villa Mitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Virgilio Sotil. That made the score 0-6 after 51 minutes of play. In the 54th minute Davide Rinaldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 56th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Davide Rinaldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre from getting a goal against them. Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davide Rinaldi in the 62nd minute of play. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Rinaldi in the 64th minute of play. When Herta Budino's Davide Rinaldi in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Furtado in the 77th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Virgilio Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 79 minutes Villa Mitre's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fábio Grosso who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Fábio Grosso almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa Mitre's Virgilio Sotil did a great save. Virgílio Furtado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Sotil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Herta Budino's Fábio Grosso got a free kick in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's Paulo Admon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Virgilio Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Furtado in the 88th minute of play. Virgilio Sotil made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Fábio Grosso sent off a good shot on target.
