Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Erhan İren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Munio in the 8th minute of play. Erhan İren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Munio came free, but Erhan İren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Paulino Lamberto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Erhan İren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th play minute Cipriano Munhoz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cecilio Jax. 1-1. In the 25th minute Marcial Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhan İren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cipriano Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 34th minute Paulino Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erhan İren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Munhoz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Munhoz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 48th minute, Paulino Lamberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Martin de Tucuman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Munhoz was the one to do the kick off. Erhan İren made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Paulino Lamberto sent off a good shot on target. Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's Gunnar Hake was substituted for Esteban Loi. A collision led to Teɱperłey Cɨŧy getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Pastor Servando hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute John Ryberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Lamberto's late challenge caught a Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulino Lamberto helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Lamberto. In the 68th match minute, San Martin de Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Urbez to maneuver through the defense. San Martin de Tucuman made a substitution. Severino Elorri replaced Pipis Vattimos. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hake in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rdth minute of the game John Ryberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Ryberg in the 74th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Severino Elorri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Osorio in the 79th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, San Martin de Tucuman's Bartolo Harkaitz got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Gunnar Hake sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Jax skillfully saved the ball. Cecilio Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Osorio in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Teɱperłey Cɨŧy's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Munio came free, but Erhan İren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Hake in the 95th minute of play. The San Martin de Tucuman players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
