The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Nicolai Allermand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bisturi F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASC Amsterdam the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling George Suminskis in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mazhar Uğurata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mazhar Uğurata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Suminskis went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A well-hit corner resulted in George Suminskis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 22 minutes into the match, ASC Amsterdam's goal looked a bit too open when George Suminskis came free, but Mazhar Uğurata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes ASC Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Alphan Hünkar. 26 minutes into the match, ASC Amsterdam's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Vespucci came free, but Mazhar Uğurata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romulo Beila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Rein van Loo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ivor Sadler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Juzda during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romulo Beila was a little too slow when Ivor Sadler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-3. If Erlin Håland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mazhar Uğurata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlin Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 93 minutes, Erlin Håland made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. ASC Amsterdam's Mazhar Uğurata tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bisturi F.C. were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ASC Amsterdam to leave the ground with a draw.
