When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gernando Pernambucano made a kick off. After taking down the ball on DeportivoIndependienteMDP's corner Salvador Perfecto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl Martin Bell Burnell quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Erasto in the 93rd minute of play forced Desportiva Paulo Afonso's goalkeeper Karl Martin Bell Burnell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilijus Mileška in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, Desportiva Paulo Afonso could leave the field as winners, despite DeportivoIndependienteMDP having more of the ball for most of the match.
