The supporters of Corteva FC booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes in the game Matías Velasco did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Just Fontaine. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robinho Castro during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Corteva FC booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarbas Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Velasco went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Matías Velasco struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jarbas Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corteva FC. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Corteva FC's goalkeeper Jânio César, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Corteva FC's 郭迪强. But to his dismay, 郭迪强 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Fay in the 37th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Daryl Fay had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daryl Fay was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 42 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio César narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Corteva FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inácio Figueiredo was slow to take the kick. During this time S S Palestra Italia's players had a chance to rest. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jânio César narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inácio Figueiredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jânio César read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. With his leg Jânio César managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Inácio Figueiredo took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Jânio César to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when 郭迪强 came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matías Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarbas Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matías Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 played minutes S S Palestra Italia got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Quexal. Gustavo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Corteva FC's Jânio César got control of the ball when Inácio Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jânio César made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Inácio Figueiredo sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Roano to maneuver through the defense.
