Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oliver Bierhoff started the match with the kick off. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Bandeca FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Bandeca FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Durvalino Salles hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Oliver Bierhoff kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guaberto Gamus. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Igor Mota cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Matías Patrone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guaberto Gamus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver Bierhoff's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Kléberson Soeiro's late challenge caught a Los Delfines's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléberson Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio de Salles to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, José Luis Brown managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Delfines's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Luis Brown was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dani Cáceres hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Guaberto Gamus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Bierhoff went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute of the match, Oliver Bierhoff got a very nice opportunity to score, but Guaberto Gamus was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Guaberto Gamus made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 38th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Bierhoff in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guaberto Gamus saved Bandeca FC from getting behind. Los Delfines were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Bandeca FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Luis Brown took the corner. Los Delfines's José Luis Brown was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Guaberto Gamus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Durvalino Salles took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matías Patrone. Matías Patrone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Oliver Bierhoff who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Guaberto Gamus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 48th minute, Oliver Bierhoff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guaberto Gamus was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Mota to make the kick off. Oliver Bierhoff might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Gamus. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver Bierhoff ran back to his position shaking his head. Bandeca FC's Guaberto Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 54th minute of play. Guaberto Gamus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Bandeca FC made a substitution. Caetano Azevedo replaced Luiz Gustavo Couto. A collision led to Los Delfines getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Rogelio Mouricio hit a great ball. Los Delfines's Hector Abadia was substituted for Lu Bin Yuan. In the 68th match minute, Los Delfines was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Mouricio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Durvalino Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bandeca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matías Patrone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caetano Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caetano Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd match minute, Bandeca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. If Zachary Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bandeca FC defense, Zachary Pliszka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guaberto Gamus. The Bandeca FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guaberto Gamus should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Caetano Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zachary Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute Zachary Pliszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Zachary Pliszka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guaberto Gamus. Bandeca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zachary Pliszka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-2. In the 89th minute Zachary Pliszka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the game Caetano Azevedo made a throw-in which Igor Mota played forward. 96 minutes into the game, Los Delfines's Zachary Pliszka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guaberto Gamus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2.
