In the 3rd minute, Erling Bennet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Soulfly F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 5th minute, Igor Czapski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatoly Karpov got free with Aşkın Özgunes in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sami Zübeyr did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Aşkın Özgunes 9 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sami Zübeyr got free with Aşkın Özgunes in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sami Zübeyr had several of the Soulfly F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Aşkın Özgunes as he didn't even see the shot coming. 14 minutes into the match, FC Maci -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Luzea came free, but Tristan Falco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Rene Luzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute Igor Czapski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Sami Zübeyr got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Aşkın Özgunes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Anatoly Karpov sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes FC Maci -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Martin Costeiantu. After some careless play in the FC Maci -MM- defense, Balaban Mirkelam kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tristan Falco. The FC Maci -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tristan Falco should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Soulfly F.C.'s goalkeeper Aşkın Özgunes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anatoly Karpov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Luzea in the 36th minute of play forced FC Maci -MM-'s goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Soulfly F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Igor Czapski came free, but Aşkın Özgunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Herve de Neuyter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soulfly F.C.'s Aşkın Özgunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Mavrogheni in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sami Zübeyr to strike the kick off in the second half. Tristan Falco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erling Bennet in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute Igor Czapski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşkın Özgunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aşkın Özgunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Czapski in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Soulfly F.C. got a corner. FC Maci -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bozkurt Veysi ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 55 played minutes Soulfly F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Erling Bennet. After 60 played minutes Soulfly F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Arantes. In the 62nd minute, Emanuel Lasker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tristan Falco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Luzea in the 63rd minute. Aşkın Özgunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatoly Karpov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Soulfly F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Igor Czapski came free, but Aşkın Özgunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Soulfly F.C. booed when FC Maci -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Voicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Maci -MM- made a substitution. Magnus Carlsen replaced Vlad Mavrogheni. Valentin Voicu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match FC Maci -MM- got a corner. Soulfly F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lasker ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Lasker got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aşkın Özgunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Soulfly F.C.'s Erhan Değirmenci got a free kick in the 88th minute. Aşkın Özgunes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sami Zübeyr's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
