But to his dismay, Rogelio Ezkerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 21 minutes into the match, Pingos Futbol Club's Clemente Matteo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yanko Milakiev narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by The Institute's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ariel Martinez was slow to take the kick. During this time Pingos Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of The Institute's goalie and right to Pascual Ferrer. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The Institute's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Ezkerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yanko Milakiev was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stoimen Glavchev in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Licerio saved Pingos Futbol Club from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Javier Cefero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Yanko Milakiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stoimen Glavchev was the one to do the kick off. Javier Cefero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yanko Milakiev came out and tried to block the shot, but Javier Cefero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 53rd minute. In the 62ndth minute of the game Stoimen Glavchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pingos Futbol Club's Marcial Licerio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Stoimen Glavchev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Licerio was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. 64 minutes in the game, Stoimen Glavchev dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Clemente Matteo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yanko Milakiev came out and tried to block the shot, but Clemente Matteo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 67th minute. 75 minutes into the match, The Institute's goalkeeper Yanko Milakiev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Naldo. Javier Cefero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Pingos Futbol Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 82nd minute, Stoimen Glavchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Nestor Naldo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Yanko Milakiev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in The Institute's zone, Clemente Matteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanko Milakiev came out of the goal and Clemente Matteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yanko Milakiev came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Pingos Futbol Club's Ariel Martinez. But to his dismay, Ariel Martinez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 91st minute, Ariel Martinez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Nestor Naldo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yanko Milakiev, 0-9. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Matteo in the 97th minute of play forced The Institute's goalkeeper Yanko Milakiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The The Institute fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pingos Futbol Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
