Demy Ottenss short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Caetano da Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Caetano da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fábio Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higinio Aguilera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Elija, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Chelsicha's goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrea Pirlo. If Demy Ottens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Chelsicha's Ciro Elija nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Higinio Aguilera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 31st minute, Andrea Pirlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Elija in the 36th minute of play forced Los Hijos de Doña Beija's goalkeeper Higinio Aguilera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Caetano da Silveira made a huge save. Caetano da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fábio Rocha in the 48th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Fábio Rocha to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciro Osasun charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Osasun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciro Osasun hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute Jyrki Sillanpää shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelsicha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Indiana Jones was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Caetano da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jyrki Sillanpää in the 96th minute of the match. Los Hijos de Doña Beija's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
