But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Romero couldn't finish the play. Luisão Romero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Maxim Nae made a huge save. The audience was convinced that George Stoicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Sigmund Tutorskiy hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Romos FC's Sabin Tecău sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxim Nae narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luisão Romero to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nicolae Ghițulescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Avantul Hirlau protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nicolae Ghițulescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Maxim Nae was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Romero in the 88th minute of play forced Avantul Hirlau's goalkeeper Maxim Nae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes Avantul Hirlau got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Pietreanu. After having played for 92 minutes, Sabin Tecău managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sabin Tecău was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Avantul Hirlau's Ferdinand Corlățean got a free kick in the 94th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Romos FC's Gabriel-Alejandro Cristian tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Romos FC had won after a very even match.
