In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Romos FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Los Liquisue FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Acevedo to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Los Liquisue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wu Cheng De came free, but Uwe Septinius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Insúa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Uwe Septinius came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Romos FC's Wu Cheng De. But to his dismay, Wu Cheng De quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Los Liquisue FC's Hermengildo Itzaina got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Federico Insúa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
