When Octavio Luken came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Cervezanegra A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Luken couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Cervezanegra A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elari Eesti came free, but Marciano Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elari Eesti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marciano Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elari Eesti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cervezanegra A.C. booed when La Coruña FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Plamen Iliev didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elari Eesti in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Xacintu saved Cervezanegra A.C. from getting behind. Marciano Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Elari Eesti sped through Cervezanegra A.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marciano Xacintu. Marciano Xacintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Budacz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marciano Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Elari Eesti took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Marciano Xacintu to make any attempt to save it. Octavio Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elari Eesti might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marciano Xacintu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elari Eesti ran back to his position shaking his head. Matei Irimia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plamen Iliev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Marciano Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Elari Eesti recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marciano Xacintu. Elari Eesti showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Elari Eesti sped through Cervezanegra A.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marciano Xacintu. When Conrado Havier fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cervezanegra A.C.'s protests and gave Conrado Havier a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Vladimiro Peyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cervezanegra A.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Peyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moises Francho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elari Eesti had several of the Cervezanegra A.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-7 score and a disappointed Marciano Xacintu as he didn't even see the shot coming. Elari Eesti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Xacintu having to make a save. Marciano Xacintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elari Eesti in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Budacz in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Xacintu saved Cervezanegra A.C. from getting behind. If Grzegorz Budacz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Elari Eesti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Xacintu was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After having played for 90 minutes, Plamen Iliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Coruña FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Plamen Iliev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
