Laziali's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cardiff City FC the free kick. Velichko Shindarov kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Cardiff City FC's Julian Efraim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delyan Súrnev made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kosta Kúnov got free with Xencio Millan in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julian Efraim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delyan Súrnev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Xencio Millan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 40th match minute, Laziali was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aleko Kamberski to maneuver through the defense. Delyan Súrnev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Efraim in the 42nd minute of play. The Laziali players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cardiff City FC were winning 0-2.

Cardiff City FC made a substitution. Celso Walme replaced Julian Efraim. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Rix made a kick off. Celso Walme hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darin Gladichev came free, but Xencio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Walme's late challenge caught a Laziali's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Walme helped the player get up and apologised. Delyan Súrnev didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Cardiff City FC's Xencio Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kosta Kúnov in the 66th minute of play. If Jairo Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Jairo Ler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kosta Kúnov came free, but Xencio Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Walme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delyan Súrnev was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celso Walme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 82 minute of play. Cardiff City FC's Paulo Lorencio was substituted for Nunez Larra. In the 88th minute, Ramiro da Silva made a precise shot to the right of Xencio Millan. Cardiff City FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. If Celso Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kosta Kúnov spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Cardiff City FC's goal. Thomas Rix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Cardiff City FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Laziali.
