The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Váldson Lopez made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Cardiff City FC's Levani Peru threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jairo Ler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 61 minutes into the game, Macho Oprișor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Xencio Millan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 minutes, Váldson Lopez mouthed his way into the referee's book.
