Geraldo Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Boix went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 25th minute, Boris Maltrana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hugo Jaramillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Dudu Madureira got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, Raúl Pardemanos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geraldo Queiroz. The goal made the score 3-0. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Valério Peres got a free kick in the 34th minute. Geraldo Queiroz came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Buenos Muchachos's Emilio Boix. But to his dismay, Emilio Boix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 45 minutes into the match, Rockets's goalkeeper Geraldo Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Jaramillo. In the 46th match minute, Buenos Muchachos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Jaramillo to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Jaramillo to make the kick off. Frederico Romero hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl Pardemanos came free, but Geraldo Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Queiroz came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Buenos Muchachos's Hugo Jaramillo. But to his dismay, Hugo Jaramillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 86th minute, Emilio Boix left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buenos Muchachos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Nicolás Carranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Geraldo Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Raúl Pardemanos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Buenos Muchachos had played much better football throughout.
