Gino do Valle started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Jasper Attwood took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Daniël De Goeij to make any attempt to save it. Doni Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolay Bonkov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Justin Collingwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Daniël De Goeij made a huge save. Daniël De Goeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasper Attwood in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Justin Collingwood had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniël De Goeij. Limoeiro-PE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justin Collingwood was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Tommy Hanley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniël De Goeij stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Attwood's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Nikolay Bonkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Justin Collingwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Daniël De Goeij made a huge save. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garlic Eaters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Doni Barbosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Limoeiro-PE FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Doni Barbosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Garlic Eaters's Nikolay Bonkov did a great save. Justin Collingwood took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniël De Goeij. Daniël De Goeij dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.

Daniël De Goeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Hanley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Limoeiro-PE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavol Stano was slow to take the kick. During this time Garlic Eaters's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Garlic Eaters's Pavol Stano to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniël De Goeij despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Limoeiro-PE FC's Richard Neto in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garlic Eaters's goalie prevented a goal. Daniël De Goeij was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerry Cheeseman charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerry Cheeseman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gerry Cheeseman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Tommy Hanley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Neto in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolay Bonkov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Limoeiro-PE FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Limoeiro-PE FC's Richard Neto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 79 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Nikolay Bonkov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Neto. A collision led to Garlic Eaters getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Joel Afful hit a great ball. 86 minutes in the game Gerry Cheeseman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Jasper Attwood. Richard Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolay Bonkov having to interfere. Daniël De Goeij showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justin Collingwood in the 90th minute of the match. If Richard Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute of the match Limoeiro-PE FC got a corner. Garlic Eaters's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doni Barbosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the referee ended the match the Garlic Eaters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
