With a little luck, Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij got control of the ball when Felipe Mino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute of the match, Felipe Mino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniël De Goeij was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Limoeiro-PE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tiburcio Honrio was slow to take the kick. During this time Tama's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Tama's Ernesto Lleir getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Suibhne Ghee. When Limoeiro-PE FC's Gino do Valle, in the 24th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Limoeiro-PE FC. Richard Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Blai having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Raphael Macedo. Suibhne Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Limoeiro-PE FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Suibhne Ghee scored to the left of an out of position Daniël De Goeij, making the score, 1-0. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Mogel in the 41st minute of play. Jorginho de Queiroz hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Richard Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Blai having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Richard Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Neto in the 51st minute of the match. Daniël De Goeij took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Mino in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Tama getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ernesto Lleir hit a great ball. Tama's Simon Ferran was substituted for Suibhne Ghee. Limoeiro-PE FC's Edgar Cabral was substituted for Luís Fabiano Fontes. After 73 played minutes Tama got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Lleir. Gaudencio Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Tama's goalkeeper Gaudencio Blai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Neto. Gaudencio Blai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Neto in the 78th minute of play. Victorino Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Daniël De Goeij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Limoeiro-PE FC's Daniël De Goeij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Mogel in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Limoeiro-PE FC's Tomás Cabral got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Victorino Mogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Daniël De Goeij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tama's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
