Gino do Valle started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Estevon during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 3 minutes into the match, Herrier's goalkeeper Justo Izotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino do Valle. After a rather tough play, Herrier's Romeo Constancio got a free kick in the 18th minute. Romeo Constancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Daniël De Goeij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniël De Goeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Richard Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justo Izotz having to interfere. Doni Barbosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Justo Izotz made a huge save. In the 30th minute Alfredo Clodio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël De Goeij saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justo Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 36th match minute, Herrier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Clodio to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Herrier's zone, Richard Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Izotz came out of the goal and Richard Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Mateo Fagildo in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Limoeiro-PE FC's Doni Barbosa. The audience was convinced that Richard Neto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justo Izotz was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Justo Izotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doni Barbosa in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Limoeiro-PE FC's Doni Barbosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Justo Izotz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.

The wind increased when Gustavo Estevon made the kick off in the second half. Justo Izotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino do Valle in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Gino do Valle made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Herrier's Justo Izotz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Estevon in the 70th minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Daniël De Goeij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Romeo Constancio in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Limoeiro-PE FC's Ian Melo. Limoeiro-PE FC made a substitution. Edgar Cabral replaced Luís Fabiano Fontes. Limoeiro-PE FC's Robert Lozovan was substituted for Gino do Valle. 82 minutes into the match, Herrier's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Barbosa came free, but Justo Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Estevon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Daniël De Goeij was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Limoeiro-PE FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Herrier for a fine match.
