The Tama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Tama's Joel Guerau got a free kick in the 13th minute. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Suibhne Ghee sped through Herrier's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Justo Izotz. After taking down the ball on Tama's corner Tiburcio Honrio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Justo Izotz quite easily take care of the ball. Gustavo Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Justo Izotz made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Felipe Mino sent off a good shot on target. Herrier's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tama the free kick. Barrie Kemp hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Tama supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tama would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
