With a little luck, HFA FC's Gordon Banks got control of the ball when Olli Fiedler tried to sneak it across the goal line. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Roland in the 6th minute of play. Hermengildo Gorka kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, HFA FC's goalkeeper Gordon Banks had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justino Roland. In the 19th minute Olli Fiedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 20 played minutes HFA FC got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Gorka. Gordon Banks was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Olli Fiedler showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. After 25 minutes Sportivo Luan Toro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was C.J. De la Sotta who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to HFA FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sebastian Turi hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Gorka came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th match minute, HFA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by C.J. De la Sotta to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Banks acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Zuri Castillejo. If Hermengildo Gorka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Fidencio in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Luan Toro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. C.J. De la Sotta was slow to take the kick. During this time HFA FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in C.J. De la Sotta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olli Fiedler was the one to do the kick off. Basilio Evarado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. 51 minutes into the game, one of HFA FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olli Fiedler in the 55th minute of play. Sebastian Turi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Robert Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Davison made an important save on a dangerous shot by C.J. De la Sotta in the 60th minute. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olli Fiedler in the 62nd minute of play. Gordon Banks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Jo Barone replaced Justino Roland. Martins Palermo scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gordon Banks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sportivo Luan Toro getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ramiro Eufrasio hit a great ball. Alfonso Pacifico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Robert Davison made a huge save. When Evert Taube came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Sportivo Luan Toro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Taube couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute Jo Barone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Banks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Davison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfonso Pacifico in the 92nd minute. HFA FC's Gordon Banks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Barone in the 94th minute of play. Gordon Banks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Barone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gordon Banks came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Luan Toro's Evert Taube. But to his dismay, Evert Taube quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Sportivo Luan Toro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
