Ponte do Carro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilio Persichetti ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Emilio Persichetti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ponte do Carro's André Carmo did a great save. In the 11th minute Simão Boaventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Ponte do Carro were awarded a corner. Luís Falcão went to the cornerflag to take it. André Carmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Goiz in the 14th minute of the match. After 17 minutes of play, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Donato Goiz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Carmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Donato Goiz put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of André Carmo. 30 minutes into the match, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Boaventura came free, but Cristiano Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Goiz to maneuver through the defense. André Carmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Goiz in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Ciro Martelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Bucciarelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Palmiro Leite in the 38th minute. Francisco Queirós made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Simão Boaventura immediately put the ball in play. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's Cristiano Bucciarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Boaventura in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Goiz in the 45th minute of play forced Ponte do Carro's goalkeeper André Carmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Loukianos Livas to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Rafael Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Leão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 52nd minute Simão Boaventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Amado Vilalobos hit a great ball. A hard shot 56 in the game by Donato Goiz from a close distance when the talented André Carmo managed to make a qualified save. Ponte do Carro's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donato Goiz in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Carmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Carmo made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Donato Goiz sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Donato Goiz took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for André Carmo to make any attempt to save it. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola made a substitution. Comunardo Proietto replaced He Hai Fei. In the 74th minute Loukianos Livas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Proietto came free, but André Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponte do Carro's André Carmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Ponte do Carro from getting a goal against them. Lambis Vrinios hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Ponte do Carro's André Carmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Goiz in the 89th minute of play. Zenon Jaszcz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Cristiano Bucciarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loukianos Livas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
