The corner led Adrogue FC's Juan Pablo Angel to fire away a dangerous shot which Nistor Maghiar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Juan Pablo Angel put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nistor Maghiar. In the 21st minute Marcelo Gallardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nistor Maghiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nistor Maghiar was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Juan Pablo Angel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The wind increased when Dudu Georgescu made the kick off in the second half. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Şantău in the 52nd minute of the match. When Dudu Georgescu came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Minerul Baita -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Georgescu couldn't finish the play. In the 64th match minute, Minerul Baita -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Comișel to maneuver through the defense. Ismael Abalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelo Gallardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nistor Maghiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Minerul Baita -MM- players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Adrogue FC.
