The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to B.Z. F.C. getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Joaquim Teixeira hit a great ball. FC Rägi were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after B.Z. F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tassilo Kost took the corner. After some careless play in the FC Rägi defense, Estevão Ponte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zachariasz Moryl. The FC Rägi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zachariasz Moryl should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Andreas Weiand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Teles was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 12th minute of the match FC Rägi got a corner. B.Z. F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tassilo Kost ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to FC Rägi's Ademar Rocha getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Zachariasz Moryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevão Ponte in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to FC Rägi getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Claude Dupasquier hit a great ball. When FC Rägi's Andreas Weiand in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye B.Z. F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Paulo Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Weiand in the 34th minute of the match. Virgílio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariasz Moryl having to interfere. Paulo Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Weiand, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Estevão Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Angelo Macieira kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute of the match Tassilo Kost shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After the first half B.Z. F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Rägi's Wilbur Charette was substituted for Timothy Ostermann. FC Rägi's Jürgen Leu was substituted for Ademar Rocha. Caetano Cardoso hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The FC Rägi fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when FC Rägi's Daniel Hurschler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 59 played minutes FC Rägi got a freekick which was hit by Wilbur Charette. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hurschler in the 62nd minute of play forced B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, FC Rägi's Daniel Hurschler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hurschler in the 69th minute of play. FC Rägi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tassilo Kost in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Hurschler in the 73rd minute of play forced B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulo Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Estevão Ponte charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Estevão Ponte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to B.Z. F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Estevão Ponte hit a great ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Daniel Hurschler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Daniel Hurschler made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Teles. B.Z. F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 83rd minute, one of B.Z. F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for B.Z. F.C.. The referee gave FC Rägi a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jakub Penc, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles. 3-2. Paulo Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Hurschler in the 88th minute of play. Estevão Ponte came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zachariasz Moryl could save by the left post. FC Rägi were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after B.Z. F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tassilo Kost took the corner. Tassilo Kost made a great header on FC Rägi's corner, it was just that B.Z. F.C.'s Paulo Teles managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, B.Z. F.C.'s José Guilherme got a free kick in the 95th minute. Tassilo Kost took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulo Teles. B.Z. F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Hurschler in the 99th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the B.Z. F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Rägi.
