With a little luck, Real Calle's Tim Nyberg got control of the ball when Lu Ladron tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lu Ladron got free with Tim Nyberg in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Lingren came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Calle's zone, Artur Sabóia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Nyberg came out of the goal and Artur Sabóia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexander Lingren during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Motta Futebol Clube booed when Real Calle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position.
