Fonso Zotillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Shen Song in the 9th minute. Fonso Zotillo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Shen Song sent off a good shot on target. Wen Yong Sha made a great header on XV de Piracicaba's corner, it was just that C.F.Fuenlabrada's Sebastián Torrico managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in XV de Piracicaba's zone, Shen Song stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fonso Zotillo came out of the goal and Shen Song tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Shen Song could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Fonso Zotillo made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Song came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fonso Zotillo having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Song came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo got control of the ball when Erubiel Aresti tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Gonzalo Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Torrico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Jurdan came free, but Sebastián Torrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of C.F.Fuenlabrada booed when XV de Piracicaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauro Souto didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Shen Song got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. XV de Piracicaba's Fonso Zotillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Luke in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 51st minute, Gonzalo Jurdan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Capixaba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sebastián Torrico came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Capixaba slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. C.F.Fuenlabrada made a substitution. Gaspar Odol replaced Shen Song. 62 minutes into the match, XV de Piracicaba's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Odol came free, but Fonso Zotillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fonso Zotillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Odol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Gaspar Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fonso Zotillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Túlio Jacinto during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Túlio Jacinto hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gaspar Odol took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fonso Zotillo. Fonso Zotillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Murillo Trigo with Gonzalo Jurdan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Odol in the 77th minute of play forced XV de Piracicaba's goalkeeper Fonso Zotillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Sebastián Torrico successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 81 minutes into the game, C.F.Fuenlabrada's Gaspar Odol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fonso Zotillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Gaspar Odol took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fonso Zotillo. Fonso Zotillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Fonso Zotillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaspar Odol went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Fonso Zotillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Odol in the 95th minute of the match.
