Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heleno de Freitas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panos Karkantos in the 21st minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Quirce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Karkantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. One of Pan FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Edson Futebol Clube:s goal. Sebastian Quirce had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Ernesto Fontes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 49 minutes of play, Edson Futebol Clube's Ernesto Fontes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Quirce was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Arnaldo Urtzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce got control of the ball when Heleno de Freitas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute Heleno de Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute Panos Karkantos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Ernesto Fontes notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce. Sebastian Quirce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Pan FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Edson Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Edson Futebol Clube.
