In the 12th minute, Claudio Antonangeli made a precise shot to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of The Handsome Wizards UTD booed when S.E. Cachoeirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Handsome Wizards UTD were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after S.E. Cachoeirinha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcus Brady took the corner. The corner led The Handsome Wizards UTD's Marcus Brady to fire away a dangerous shot which Ismael de Carvalho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Claudio Antonangeli made a precise shot to the right of Ismael de Carvalho. S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Claudio Antonangeli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael de Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute The Handsome Wizards UTD were awarded a corner. Marcus Brady went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Claudio Antonangeli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael de Carvalho was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Ismael de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasey Bond in the 32nd minute of the match. Ismael de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Antonangeli, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Antonangeli in the 36th minute of play. Nikola Tesla struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ismael de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Handsome Wizards UTD. Claudio Antonangeli took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Handsome Wizards UTD's Grant Groves quite brazenly broke a throw-in by João Adolfo de Andrade, made in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E. Cachoeirinha's goalkeeper Ismael de Carvalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ismael de Carvalho was a little too slow when Grant Groves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-6. S.E. Cachoeirinha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Claudio Antonangeli scored to the left of an out of position Ismael de Carvalho, making the score, 0-7. With an all-out effort, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Ismael de Carvalho threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nikola Tesla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 63rd minute The Handsome Wizards UTD were awarded a corner. Marcus Brady went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcus Brady made a great header on The Handsome Wizards UTD's corner, it was just that S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho managed to reach the ball for a save. Claudio Antonangeli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael de Carvalho having to make a save. S.E. Cachoeirinha's Ismael de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save S.E. Cachoeirinha from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Claudio Antonangeli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. In the 88th minute, The Handsome Wizards UTD's Claudio Antonangeli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ismael de Carvalho. Ismael de Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. 94 minutes into the game, Claudio Antonangeli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael de Carvalho. Claudio Antonangeli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12.
