The crowd rose to their feet as ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Guib Cortina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerd Pollmann. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. When Militros F.C.'s Sandrinho Cunha in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gerd Pollmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guib Cortina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Militros F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonides Pulido was slow to take the kick. During this time ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wanderson Valencia in the 26th minute of play forced ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Ferdinand Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes of play, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Guib Cortina made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerd Pollmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ferdinand Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Valencia in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Wanderson Valencia hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ got a freekick which was hit by Petrigai Cerbera. When Cosimo Tagliente fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Militros F.C.'s protests and gave Cosimo Tagliente a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cosimo Tagliente hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Guib Cortina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerd Pollmann was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. In the 44th minute, Guib Cortina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerd Pollmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 51stth minute of the game Guib Cortina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Militros F.C.'s Gerd Pollmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes, Wanderson Valencia made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guib Cortina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerd Pollmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guib Cortina's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Ronaldo Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ronaldo Donato hit a great ball. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Cunha in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Paulão Freire tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferdinand Johnson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 73rd minute Carlisle Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Pollmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Cunha came free, but Ferdinand Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlisle Fenwick didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Carlisle Fenwick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerd Pollmann was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 84th minute Carlisle Fenwick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Pollmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerd Pollmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlisle Fenwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute Paulão Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Johnson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Militros F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
