After 10 minutes Murcia Promesas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonides Pulido who took care of the corner kick. Bardo Cameno hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Carlisle Fenwick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlisle Fenwick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Murcia Promesas's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Pulido came free, but Jens Schrape reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Johansson in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferdinand Johnson saved ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ from getting behind. Jens Schrape went to the wrong direction when Glyn Smith was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 38 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Carlisle Fenwick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens Schrape narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Petrigai Cerbera got a free kick in the 41st minute. The long shot by Bardo Cameno in the 42nd minute really tested Ferdinand Johnson's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 43rd match minute, Murcia Promesas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lu Ran Ao to maneuver through the defense. If Leonides Pulido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Ali Çağrı Şehzat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Murcia Promesas and the ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ booed when Murcia Promesas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Çağrı Şehzat didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlisle Fenwick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Murcia Promesas's Jens Schrape played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Pulido in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd minute ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ were awarded a corner. Leonides Pulido went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 55th minute of the game Fran Canta made a throw-in which Leonides Pulido played forward. Carlisle Fenwick could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jens Schrape made a huge save. With a little luck, Murcia Promesas's Jens Schrape got control of the ball when Carlisle Fenwick tried to sneak it across the goal line. Glyn Smith hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Murcia Promesas's Tim Vereeken was substituted for Leon Huchro. Murcia Promesas's Martin Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murcia Promesas made a substitution. Alfredo Laredo replaced Ali Çağrı Şehzat. ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's Ferdinand Johnson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miliano Sacristán in the 78th minute of play. Tim Vereeken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Ferdinand Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, ꜱᴀᴊʀᴀꜱ ꜰᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Miliano Sacristán came free, but Ferdinand Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miliano Sacristán struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Ferdinand Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murcia Promesas. Murcia Promesas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
