The referee ignored Lipovljani's protests and gave Valter Vidulić a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when Lipovljani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Vidulić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabrijel Jovanovski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maciej Marchlewicz in the 13th minute. Vila Zumbi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Fernando Schmidt in the 14th minute. Axel Witsel tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Gabrijel Jovanovski. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nikifor Kulaksúzov in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Beninda saved Vila Zumbi from getting behind. In the 30th match minute, Vila Zumbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías Souza to maneuver through the defense. Antoni Beninda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cvjetko Štokić, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Maciej Marchlewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabrijel Jovanovski. Lipovljani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maciej Marchlewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.

The wind increased when Cvjetko Štokić made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Hugo Duardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lipovljani's Gabrijel Jovanovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kang Fan Xiang in the 59th minute of play. Maciej Marchlewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabrijel Jovanovski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maciej Marchlewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabrijel Jovanovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Lipovljani's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Marchlewicz came free, but Gabrijel Jovanovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cvjetko Štokić in the 71st minute of play forced Vila Zumbi's goalkeeper Antoni Beninda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
