In the 21stth minute of the game Sherlock Holmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Jr. FC's 石翔晨 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wit Chuchro's late challenge caught a Boca Jr. FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wit Chuchro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Wit Chuchro hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Boca Jr. FC's Leon Jerrold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edinho Paraíba made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After some careless play in the Boca Jr. FC defense, Reynaldo Neves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 石翔晨. The Boca Jr. FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 石翔晨 should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

51 minutes into the game, Wit Chuchro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 石翔晨. Wit Chuchro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 54 minutes into the match, Boca Jr. FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Goiano came free, but 石翔晨 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Sherlock Holmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. 石翔晨 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 石翔晨 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sherlock Holmes in the 66th minute.
