In the 5th match minute, Thornhill City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dejan Jovanić to maneuver through the defense. Thornhill City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Oscar-Alfredo Ruggeri in the 11th minute. Radoman Karaičić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ye Yan Yu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Carl Pedersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Staniša Šorgić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okoyomon Charles Pinazas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Radoman Karaičić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Yan Yu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Staniša Šorgić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wenzel Winter in the 30th minute of the match. Staniša Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Edward Mentus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staniša Šorgić having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Idalécio Baldaia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadáveres Voladores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 48 minutes into the game, Cadáveres Voladores's Wenzel Winter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Staniša Šorgić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ninoslav Mijanović made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ninoslav Mijanović in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ye Yan Yu saved Cadáveres Voladores from getting behind. Ye Yan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ninoslav Mijanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Staniša Šorgić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Idalécio Baldaia in the 61st minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Ninoslav Mijanović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thornhill City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ninoslav Mijanović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Sima Ignjatović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thornhill City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadáveres Voladores the free kick. The supporters of Cadáveres Voladores booed when Thornhill City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sima Ignjatović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Staniša Šorgić made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Idalécio Baldaia sent off a good shot on target. Ninoslav Mijanović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ye Yan Yu having to make a save. Ye Yan Yu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ninoslav Mijanović in the 75th minute of the match. Staniša Šorgić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wenzel Winter in the 83rd minute of play. Damjan Stevančević hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Thornhill City's Siniša Ognjanović got a free kick in the 87th minute. Ninoslav Mijanović scored 1-2 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ye Yan Yu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Thornhill City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cadáveres Voladores's performance. The match ended with a win for Cadáveres Voladores.
