With his leg Staniša Šorgić managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Cadáveres Voladores's Wenzel Winter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 16 minutes into the match, Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wenzel Winter. Ye Yan Yu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radoman Karaičić, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Nemesio Ledo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ye Yan Yu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoman Karaičić in the 22nd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Thornhill City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ninoslav Mijanović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ye Yan Yu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Idalécio Baldaia might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Staniša Šorgić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Idalécio Baldaia ran back to his position shaking his head. Ye Yan Yu was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Ninoslav Mijanović capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ninoslav Mijanović really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The supporters of Cadáveres Voladores booed when Thornhill City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siniša Ognjanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Staniša Šorgić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wenzel Winter, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Thornhill City's goal looked a bit too open when Idalécio Baldaia came free, but Staniša Šorgić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wenzel Winter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chants of Thornhill City echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Cadáveres Voladores had held the ball for most of the match.
