In the 66th minute Jairo Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Vítor Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Zoff having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Merlin Sweeney in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Zoff prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merlin Sweeney got free with Raul Zoff in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75thth minute of the game Merlin Sweeney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maccabi Netanya's Raul Zoff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jairo Lauaxeta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Maccabi Netanya's goal looked a bit too open when Merlin Sweeney came free, but Raul Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
