Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Willy Brown FC from getting a goal against them. Buenos y Malos Ayres's István Détári played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiro Aureo in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Paulo Theobald notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar. Isaac Aimar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Theobald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Aimar having to make a save. Isaac Aimar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Theobald in the 14th minute. István Détári made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Samuel in the 17th minute of play. After 19 minutes, Urbano Bermund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Willy Brown FC and the Buenos y Malos Ayres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Willy Brown FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Bermund to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Theobalds short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Isaac Aimar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Theobald got free with Isaac Aimar in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Theobald who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Isaac Aimar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Danilo Dubardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Isaac Aimar made a huge save. In the 38th minute of the match Steve Brayer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but István Détári skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Theobald got free with Isaac Aimar in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Theobald in the 44th minute of play. After 46 minutes Willy Brown FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Silvio Poz who took care of the corner kick. Silvio Poz made a great header on Buenos y Malos Ayres's corner, it was just that Willy Brown FC's Isaac Aimar managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme Cruz in the 70th minute of play forced Buenos y Malos Ayres's goalkeeper István Détári to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Paulo Theobald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Isaac Aimar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Buenos y Malos Ayres's Arnulfo Beltran was substituted for Paulo Theobald. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Beltran in the 79th minute of play forced Willy Brown FC's goalkeeper Isaac Aimar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. István Détári made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tiro Aureo in the 84th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Willy Brown FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Buenos y Malos Ayres.
