The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SoS FC's attentive Run Run managed to snatch the ball when Yenal Kargin made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. Karl-Erik Larsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Backlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão de Amorim in the 11th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Rony Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Erik Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Tasso in the 16th minute of the match. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Tasso in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Backlund in the 32nd minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yenal Kargin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Rony Zanette made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Marek Jaraczewski sent off a good shot on target. After 46 played minutes SoS FC got a freekick which was hit by Run Run. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedrão de Amorim to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Pedrão de Amorim notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Xiboquinha FC's Rony Zanette. Rony Zanette was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute, Sílvio Favoretto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Xiboquinha FC's Rony Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão de Amorim in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Pedrão de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Rony Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SoS FC made a substitution. Ove Holmgren replaced Eduard Gâgea. SoS FC's attentive Run Run managed to snatch the ball when Yenal Kargin made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. Rony Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Boylin in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute SoS FC were awarded a corner. Christer Bratt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SoS FC's Mårten Majman to fire away a dangerous shot which Rony Zanette despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Tommy Boylin took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rony Zanette. Rony Zanette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the SoS FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
