Umbrella Corporation's Antoni Bartoszek got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Bartoszek came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, ASC South United's goal looked a bit too open when John Lennon came free, but Erwin Teesing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Tamminga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Teesing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bartoszek in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Lennon in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erwin Teesing saved ASC South United from getting behind. Umbrella Corporation's Alfredo Curado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erwin Teesing in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 31st minute, John Lennon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erwin Teesing was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Bender was the one to do the kick off. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
